Designed to offer the highest protection in the field, Stornoway breeks feature the innovative HWS membrane that’s fully waterproof, breathable and windproof 

Outer is a soft to touch, durable, brushed polyester in a distinctive tweed look print pattern in classic green with burgundy overlay. Treated with a durable water repellent to repel water and prevent water logging,  to keep the jacket light and able to dry quickly, giving it a major advantage over traditional tweed

The innovative Harkila Weather System (HWS) membrane is the technology behind the Stornoway breeks, keeping you dry in the roughest weather. The waterproof, windproof, breathable and lightweight membrane is tailored to the needs of the active wearer, allowing you to stay dry and comfortable during demanding activity in harsh conditions by wicking away perspiration vapour

The Harkila Weather System HWS® - How it Works
Using hydrophilic membranes to draw moisture out, the membrane rapidly absorbs and removes perspiration, distributing it over the surface, where it rapidly evaporates and stabilises the temperature inside the garment. At the same time, the holes in the membrane are so small that they prevent water molecules from entering from outside. This is an innovative technology in a robust construction that both enhances adaptability and protects the shooter from the elements.
